North Phoenix Parents' Group frequently hosts activities for parents and children in the community. We post these events on our public Facebook page. Below is a list of current activities. We also encourage our members to host their own events, such as spontaneous play dates, game nights, zoo visits, a night out, or whatever YOU would like to organize! Annual membership dues do not include participation in the following activities:
Play Dates - Are you interested in joining a playgroup to share experiences, find advice, give support and make new friends? If so, NPPG invites you to join us our baby/toddler playgroup! You don't have to be a member to attend our play dates. Visit our public Facebook page to find details on our next play date.
Mom's Night Out (MNO) - Almost all Moms understand the beauty of MNOs. The kid-less night we get to go out with friends to relax and reconnect. The time we need to gossip, catch up, brag, complain, or just hang out. Each month NPPG arranges a fun MNO that has become a favorite among members.
Dad's Night Out (DNO) – Dads deserve a night out too! Eat, drink, and relax in the presence of great company. Poker night has become one of their favorite activities. Laughs guaranteed with this group.
Philanthropy - Our members are passionate about helping others and don’t hesitate to give back. Volunteering as a family teaches our children to care for others while making a positive impact on both them and the community. Past activities have included food/school/toy drives, charity runs, nursing home Halloween costume parades, “adopt a family”, and much more.
In the past, NPPG also hosted book club, craft night, bunco and other activities. If there is something you'd like to do, we encourage all members to reach out to the group to gauge interest.
